Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Artificial Intelligence, often called AI, is becoming an increasingly common part of everyday life. Children may already encounter AI through search engines, educational apps, games, voice assistants and online tools that can answer questions or generate content. AI can be a useful way to support learning, creativity and problem-solving, but it is important for children to understand that AI can sometimes make mistakes and should not be relied upon as the only source of information. At Wrockwardine Wood CE Junior School, we encourage pupils to use technology safely, responsibly and thoughtfully, while developing the critical thinking skills needed to question, check and evaluate information they find online. We believe that by working together, school and home can help children develop the knowledge and confidence to use AI safely and positively.
