The Voice comes to 56BD this half term, with our topic of ‘Music Appreciation’ where we will delve into the musical world, exploring a wide variety of musical genres - which one will be your favourite and who will you turn your chair for?

Our English units will also have a musical vibe; who will be the next lyrical genius, like Ed Sheeran? Watch this space!

In maths, we will be securing our understanding of area and perimeter, shape and space and measures.

Science this half term will involve us becoming masters of the human body. We will understand how our circulatory system works. We will become sports scientists for the day and investigate exercise and heart rate.

Our outdoor PE continues to be on a Monday where we will be focussing on athletics! Our indoor PE will be swimming!

Reading at home every night and practising your spellings and timetables on TT Rockstars continue to remain a priority so please make sure you are spending time each evening focusing on these key areas - a little extra practise goes a very long way and your efforts will be rewarded!
