This half term, our unit of work is called ‘Time Traveller’, which we will be exploring through Art and that focuses on the passing of time. We will be learning about Pop Art and Surrealism, as well as the famous artists Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali and Rene Magritte.

Maths:

During this half term’s Maths, we will be looking at division, fractions, decimals and percentages.

 English:

For English, we will firstly be learning how to write a biography about Pop Artist Andy Warhol. This will then be followed by a chance to be creative when we write a mystery story!

Love to Read:

We will be reading ‘The War of the Worlds’ by H.G. Wells, which follows Mr. Jennings as he navigates his way around the country whilst trying to survive an alien invasion.

PE:

For Outdoor P.E. we will be doing orienteering and for Indoor P.E. we will be learning about different types of training to boost our strength and stamina!

MFL:

This half term, we will be focusing on delicious French food and drink!
