Here’s a little bit of information about what we will be doing in our first half term:

Our history theme this half term is ‘Off With her Head’, where we will be transporting ourselves back to the Tudor period and learning all about the notorious King Henry VIII. Our Love to Read text will be Treason by Berlie Doherty, which follows the story of a young boy who becomes Prince Edward’s page and works under the watchful eye of King Henry VIII.

In English, we will be writing recounts as Anne Boleyn. As with every year, we will start off by revisiting place value in maths. Science is evolution and inheritance, looking in detail at Charles Darwin’s theory of Evolution and what makes us - us!
