English: 

Our class book this half term is Kensuke’s Kingdom and we will continue to practise our comprehension every day.

We will be studying Kennings in our poetry unit and learning how to write newspaper reports. We also have a very exciting new topic this year! To link to our music unit of learning, we are going to have a go at writing to different types of music!

Maths:

This half term we will be revisiting all operations, learning to tell the time, developing the children's knowledge and skills in the areas of shape, position and direction, as well as learning about statistics.

Science:

Our topic this half term is Sound which we will enjoy linking to our music unit of learning.

Music:

We are really excited about our unit of work this half term which will involve singing, playing instruments, making instruments, and composing.

RE:

We will be learning about The Five Pillars of Islam and looking at the lives and beliefs of Muslims.

PE: 

This half term our indoor PE will be multi skills and our outdoor PE will be athletics.

MFL:

This half term we will be finding out how to talk about holidays and hobbies in French.

PSHE:

This half term our Jigsaw topis is ‘Changing Me’ and we will be talking about the changes that bodies go through, as well as the impact this has on mental health and relationships.
