Our unit of work this half term is called ‘Misty Mountain, Winding River’, which is a Geography unit looking at how mountains are formed, types of mountains and the journey of a river. As well as this, we will be exploring mountains and rivers of the world, in addition to the River Severn. We will also be learning about grid references and contour lines.
In Maths, we will continue to work with decimals and begin looking at volume.
Our genres for English are instructions and non-chronological reports. Our Love to Read text is ‘The Wind in the Willows’, which follows the delights and disasters of four friends: Mole, Ratty, Badger and Toad.
In PE, we will be working looking at multi-skills and rounders.
