Hi all, we are on our way and hoping to be back at school at 10pm
We are all working really hard in the arena. We’re sitting in block 4 row A and B 100-111. If you’re coming tonight, give us a wave!
Thank you to everyone who came to our launch assembly for our ‘Mission: Money’ week!
Here is a brief summary of what was shared:
- Once you have completed the Junior Savers membership form, please can you return it to the school office in person, along with a valid form of ID for your child (birth certificate, passport, NHS medical card)
- When we have received the membership form and taken a photocopy of the ID, we will send this on to the Credit Union, who will create a savings account for your child along with a unique account number
- Each child will then receive a Junior Savers paying in booklet, where a record of their deposits will be kept
- Our School Bank will be open every Tuesday and Friday at 8:30am – we will be in the hall where Breakfast Buddies takes place
If you would like more information on how to make deposits in other ways (direct debit, standing order etc.) or anything else regarding the savings account, please contact the Just Credit Union on:
Once again, thank you so much for your support with this and happy saving!
On Tuesday 12th November during the school day, the Book People Book Bus will be visiting school and will parked on the lower school playground. We have a timetable for each class to visit the bus to look at the books during the morning and purchase if they want to. Therefore, you may send your child to school on Tuesday with a small amount of money to spend on a book (if you wish). We recommend £6-£7 maximum. Please make sure that any money sent in is in an envelope marked with their name and that your child keeps it in their school bag until their time to visit. There is no pressure to buy a book and your child can just go on the bus to look during their time slot. The bus will also be open during the afternoon (until approx. 4pm) for parents to visit and purchase books as this is the same day as the Parent afternoon/evening consultations. You may take your child/children on the bus with you after your appointment and then take them straight home if you wish. You may also purchase books online before the day if you would like to and the website details are here:
Any books you buy will earn commission for school to enable us to purchase books for our classrooms and Library so we thank you for your continued help and co-operation.
Our Harvest Service will be held at Holy Trinity on Wednesday 23rd October at 1:45pm. Parents/carers/ grandparents and friends are all welcome!
We would be most appreciative of a food donation (tinned/packets goods in date) for our collection for the Telford Food Bank.
The school photographer will be in school on THURSDAY 7TH NOVEMBER to take individual photographs of the children during the school day.
If you would like a photograph taken of your child with younger/older siblings who are not in our school, the photographer will be available between 8.10am and 8.45am for this purpose.
An order form will be sent home with your child at a later date for you to order photographs if you wish. Orders are to be returned to the school office please by the deadline date stated on the order form.
*Please note: this date has been changed from a provisional date of the 24th October 2019
Due to a burst water main in Birmingham, there are no toilet facilities in the Sea Life Centre for about 20 minutes. The staff have been able to take the children next door to Legoland for a FREE 20 minute play!
The following is a message from our Governors:
A quick reminder that clubs after school finish at 4pm (with the exception of Forest School which is 4:50pm).
We can offer these clubs free of charge as we have the goodwill of staff to stay behind after school. Failure to collect your child on time means that our staff may incur charges for their own children if they are collected late from elsewhere.
Persistent late collection will mean that you are charged a late collection fee or Governors may have to consider charging for all our after school clubs to cover costs.
Please help us to keep our clubs varied, available and free by collecting your child on time. Thanks.
